They do have lots of fun stuff for little guys to play with there. Obviously enjoying his first post-biopsy meal. Posted by *Meghan* @ 1:40 PM. A mama b...

A mama blogs the journey to transplant and beyond. Thursday, March 01, 2007. I wanted to share a few more pictures. Please check the post below for an update! Posted by *Meghan* @ 11:08 PM. Was our 6 month post-transplant anniversary! To come back to see if the 6 month biopsy was necessary. Now, I'm not exactly clear on what it meant, so I can't go into detail but we never heard from them and still haven't heard from them on the results of that. Anyway, we started receiving calls from anesthesia. Biopsy ...

Maya!: May 2008

http://missmayapapaya.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html

Friday, May 23, 2008. Last weekend we headed up to Albany for Maya's cousin's birthday party. Kyle turned five! Here's Maya in her snazzy new car seat. She outgrew the infant seat a few weeks back. Thankfully she got a decent nap in on the drive. Maya was excited to see everyone when we arrived, and she loved to look at the balloons on the mailbox. Just don't get too close! All better, wearing the cool sun hat Grandma got her:. We sat outside for a while with Grandma. Yay, Aunt Mary made it:. And here ar...

Maya!: April 2009

http://missmayapapaya.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Friday, April 3, 2009. We've had a busy time lately trying to stay occupied during the cold winter months. Maya had a weekly music class that she grew to like. Her favorite times were playing with the instruments and clean up time! We also took a day and met up with the Kahns at an indoor play spot so Maya and Owen could burn off some steam. I think they had a blast. I just love how she looks around after she dumps the cart out to see if she's going to be told "uh oh! Going through the car wash! Now that...

Maya!: August 2008

http://missmayapapaya.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

Monday, August 18, 2008. 11 months photos and Family picnic. We've taken a lot of video lately. Here's Maya showing off her new cruising skills:. Her new favorite thing, throwing her toys and books down the stairs (don't worry, we're teaching her how to safely go down the stairs so she won't fall):. Playing in the curtains:. Her babysitter brought over this little tunnel that she loves to be chased through. She gets a tickling if she goes in there! Waiting for her tickle:. On the hammock with Aunt Mary:.

Maya!: March 2008

http://missmayapapaya.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html

Tuesday, March 25, 2008. On Saturday we ventured up to Albany to celebrate Easter with Becky's family. Maya really enjoyed Aunt Laurie's doggie, Brody. However, she wasn't so keen on visiting with her family. Hanging with Aunt Sharon was a bust. Back in mom's arms. Grandma was ok. for a while. Aunt Mary was ok for about 4 seconds. Maya loved her cousins, though! With Kyle and Samantha:. Little babies grow up so fast! Maya's adventures in solid foods. Steamed carrots are fun! Broccoli is totally the best.

Maya!: September 2008

http://missmayapapaya.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Friday, September 5, 2008. On Labor Day weekend, our friends Russ and Beth invited us to stay at their house with them and some friends on Fire Island. We couldn't wait to take Maya back to the beach and see if she liked it this time. Plus, her buddy Owen would be there and we knew she'd have a great time with him. She napped on the car ride down so she was ready to go head to head with Owen for their Cheerio eating contest when we arrived. Get that lobster out of my face and give me more Cheerios! Owen ...

Maya!: Spring into summer

http://missmayapapaya.blogspot.com/2009/06/spring-into-summer.html

Friday, June 5, 2009. Here's a quick re-cap of the last couple months! Maya loves to count, and she is learning her alphabet now. Her favorite letter is "W". Here she is counting and throwing her blocks:. We went to Aunt Laurie's house for Easter. Maya had a fun time playing with her cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Probably should have used the zoom on this one. The family! Back home, the indoor rice box helps to keep Maya occupied. Oops, am I in trouble? The poor animals seemed to be melting.

Saturday, January 26, 2008. Maya started laughing a few weeks back, but just recently has she upped the giggle factor. Her giggle is just the best sound in the entire world. Please don't laugh at her Where's Waldo outfit (thanks Jamie! Friday, January 25, 2008. Hangin' with the Kahn family. Last weekend Maya got to hang out with her boyfriend, Owen! It was tons of fun! They came all the way up from NJ to visit with us. Most of the day the babies just hung out while the moms made faces at them! She's also...

Maya!: November 2008

http://missmayapapaya.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Sunday, November 9, 2008. Last month we visited an awesome orchard! Maya got to try out her new wagon. It was very crowded! Who's that little farm girl? She loved looking at all the animals. And the pretty flowers. She wanted to grab them all. There was barely enough room for her at the end of the day! We picked up pumpkins, apples, cider, and apple butter. Then we grabbed some lunch and headed home! Here are some random 13 month shots and video. Dumping her high chair tray! Sunday, November 2, 2008.

Life and a Kidney Bean

Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Typing at my computer, I feel that swell of excitement over a project I found on pinterest.com and attempted just this afternoon during naptime. Super cool floating book-shelf. After wading through lots of websites and blogs, I finally found a gal who had put together a very detailed tutorial that looked easy enough to follow. You can find it here. Knew I would be desecrating this poor book and I went and got myself attached anyway. Stupid, stupid, stupid! Building My Book Shelf.
