Wednesday, 10 December 2014. YOGA in Grade 1/2. Today we had a FANTASTIC incursion from SCHOOL TIME YOGA. We went on a Christmas journey that incorporated many different yoga poses and self control. We finished off with a meditation and focus exercises. It was very fun and relaxing! 10 December 2014 at 18:30. I loved doing the Christmas yoga. It was sooooo fun! 10 December 2014 at 18:32. Thursday, 4 December 2014. Story Time in 1/2GW. We were lucky enough to have a grade 4 student come into our class and read to us his story called "The Magic Hat". This story has taken all term for him to write, creating an ebook and drawing all the illustrations to match his text. We loved the story and the grade 1/2s were very impressed! Congratulations grade 3/4s on your amazing stories this term. The writing was very neat - Alexander. The story was perfecto! The story was very interesting - Ella.

Tuesday, 24 February 2015. February, the Year 5 and 6 students attended the WESA Swimming Carnival at Harold Holt Swim Centre in Malvern. The children competed in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and relay events in the 50m pool, and a variety of novelty events in the leisure pool. It was a great day out for Holy Saviour with the children competing in the leisure pool bringing home the trophy for best performance in the pool! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
