Great Books To Keep Kids Reading. Fun News And Facts. The Emperor His Bride and The Dragon Robe: Review. This book is definitely for somewhat older children (think 7 to 9) as it does have quite a lot of text. That said, the illustrations by Ge Feng are gorgeous and when we flipped through just the pictures even my two year olds loved it. I personally love great myths and fairy tales so this book is exactly the kind I enjoy reading with my kids. Age group: 7 and up. Rating: 4 out of 5. March 3, 2015.
