We have noticed so many firsts in the past three weeks: he is babbling with consonants, a tooth is beginning to show, he can sit in the tripod pose, he's actually eating his baby food instead of tasting, and he is getting on his knees daily in preparation for crawling. He enjoys snacking on cheerios, bananas, crackers (thanks to Papa), and rice cakes. Going out to eat is so much more enjoyable now too. He is usually pretty content sitting in a high chair munching on bits of everyone else's dinner. Six months has been a fun age for both of us, even if he is into everything!

He's had a fever since Thursday. I was beginning to think that it would never go away! While he was sick, he didn't want me to put him down and he whined for hours at a time.
