Jessie's Journey: May 2008
http://jessieclark.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
My life is a journey. Every moment I seek to discover what the Lord is dong around me and how I can be a part of it. And as I walk, I grow. Saturday, May 31, 2008. You wouldn't think the two connect, but yesterday they did! I was swimming in our beautiful swimming pool here in the complex to get some exercise (thank you to our Thai friend who is letting us use this condo for free! So I said the first thing that came to mind (in Thai), "Do you know what time the pool closes? They responded, "Oh! Our conve...

A mish-mash of thoughts from one mish-mashed girl. July 6, 2008. Festivities, Fun Parks, Fourth of July and Photo Shoots. My birthday marked yet another holiday without the madre, but my friends and family were there to step in and make my special day extra special. I spent the evening with a good friend who treated me to Thai food and I then treated her to Coldstone (I had a gift card). A few days later, my college friends took me to a fancy dinner at an outdoor restaurant in Old Town. The park was surp...

Yes, I’m helping plant a church… | Tranalist

A mish-mash of thoughts from one mish-mashed girl. August 14, 2008. Yes, I’m helping plant a church…. I realize that some of you might be wanting to hear the back story as to how I ended up on a team that’s starting a church. To do so, we’ll have to go back about 7 months or so. The church I was going to was really digging into the theme of investing your time into the city in which you live. Friends told me I should move back to the Fullerton area, but I. I was meant to be in Pasadena and I. Looking bac...

A mish-mash of thoughts from one mish-mashed girl. November 24, 2008. This September I found myself dressing up (ok, not really) and heading off to my first day of class since I graduated from University 2 years ago. I had enrolled in a Spanish class and a Photography class at the local JC to add some enrichment to my life. Some of my work. Melissa and Rachel have been such a huge help to me. They have posed as models for my assignments more than once. Love them. I’m hoping to take a di...You are comment...

Great Organizations | Tranalist

A mish-mash of thoughts from one mish-mashed girl. I’ve been stumbling onto a lot of cool nonprofit organizations and foundations that I think should be passed along. Is a company started by a young man traveling through South America who saw that most children didn’t own shoes. Upon arriving back in the States, he approached a major shoe company, shared his idea of making low cost shoes to give to those in need. The shoe company supported the idea and TOMS had its humble beginnings. Or TOMS myspace page.

A mish-mash of thoughts from one mish-mashed girl. August 10, 2008. I arrived home from a wonderful week in June Lake and I found it hard to come home this time (that or a week just isn’t long enough). Nature. Beauty. Hiking. Lakes. Docks. Fishing. Skipping rocks. Mountains. Family. Books. Sun. Swimming. I had a great time. Took tons of pictures. I’ll fill you in later. Laquo; Big Bear Retreat. Yes, I’m helping plant a church…. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. A mish-mash of thoughts from one mish-mashed girl. August 20, 2008. The other view- Gull Lake. What was originally only supposed to be a long weekend up in the Sierras turned into a full week at the last minute. I had the vacation allowance and thought a week away from work would be good for the soul. We were, however, able to go on a couple of great hikes, get in some not-so-good fishing (I didn’t even catch one! Get funny sunburns and, of course, take lots of pictures. Sage: I wan, I wanna go feeshing.

Jessie's Journey: Rhema: The living Word of God
http://jessieclark.blogspot.com/2008/05/rhema-living-word-of-god.html
My life is a journey. Every moment I seek to discover what the Lord is dong around me and how I can be a part of it. And as I walk, I grow. Wednesday, May 28, 2008. Rhema: The living Word of God. Before I left, a fellow missionary friend of mine, Kierra HIggens. Commended to me John 15. She quoted it in one of our walking times together and the Holy Spirit quickened it to my heart. I haven't been able to get away from it since. These are piercing words. I PROVE myself a disciple by bearing fruit....So if...
