See the world: Playground
http://seetheworldkk.blogspot.com/2013/04/playground.html
Wednesday, April 17, 2013. One day Cole gave me this pipe cleaner butterfly and it kind of melted my heart. When you tickle Tim his vein sticks out—so adorable and funny. I can’t tell you how much fun I have with these kids. Also, incase you can’t tell—I completely favor the boys. I don’t know why, but I just love these playful, little guys! See the world: August 2012
http://seetheworldkk.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Well after lots of preparing, shopping, packing, and goodbye-ing I am finally done and ready to go! Tuesday, August 21, 2012. How it all got started. Last December I came across a flyer of a meeting about spending a semester abroad teaching English. I didn’t think much of it, but my roommate Jessica and I were bored one night so we decided to check it out (plus they advertised free food and we were starving college students). Oh, I’m also out of my mind excited.

See the world: December 2012
http://seetheworldkk.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 14, 2012. We didn’t have time to hike up and down the whole mountain so we just took cable cars and hiked around the tops of the mountains. All over the mountains there were these guys carrying these huge loads of food, supplies, and even people. The mountains were difficult to climb as it was—I can’t imagine how these guys could carry hundred of pounds up them. Crazy! There were locks all over the mountains so I bought two—one for my parents and one for the other girls and I.

See the world: Lessons
http://seetheworldkk.blogspot.com/2013/04/lessons.html
Saturday, April 13, 2013. My program, ILP, encourages all the schools to organize classes for us English teachers so we can learn more about their culture. We didn’t have very many lessons (part of this could’ve been our fault for not organizing them), but we were able to have many Chinese lessons, a cooking class, a pottery class, a couple Ku Fung lessons, and play badminton many times. Chinese Lessons: These were taught by our native coordinator, Mary, and we had it almost every other week.

See the world: November 2012
http://seetheworldkk.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 22, 2012. MY PAPERS ARE IN. Yes, it’s true! As of last Sunday (November 18th)! I’m so happy! Post I wrote last week and how I had no idea how I was going to get my papers in? Well the very next day I received an email from my friend Katie Bell. I am just so grateful to Katie. I know for a fact that I would still be wondering what to do if Katie never emailed me. Seriously—what an angel she is and what a great missionary she will make! He might even make a good missionary someday ;).

See the world: October 2012
http://seetheworldkk.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 19, 2012. The first week in October is a national holiday in China for Moon Festival. Before all the kids went home to their families, the school put on a little party for the kindergarteners and invited us to it! They gave everyone fruit, snacks, and the traditional moon cake. We put on a small skit/song for the kids and a few of them got up and sang to us. Then we ate and played! These two are twins. They’re adorable. Even after class, the kids are obsessed with their sticker chart.

See the world: July 2015
http://seetheworldkk.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 16, 2015. On December 12th, I woke up, taught class (taught is being used loosely here), and then everybody gathered around my laptop to skype my family. My mission call came. After a month of waiting (longest wait of my life! My call finally arrived at my house in Highland, Utah and I could not have been more excited to hear where the Lord wanted me to serve. My dad held up the call to the webcam and I read the words…. I could not be more excited for this call! I’m okay with that! Man I c...
