The Adventures of DAWNSON!: February 2012
http://dawnsonchen.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
The Adventures of DAWNSON! Finally a new post. It's been a while since my last post, and boy have been busy. I started the Game Arts program at Seneca College in September and I finally have something worth posting. This is an assignment I did in my environment modeling class, the goal is to recreate a scene from a piece of concept art. I actually choose a scene from one of my favorite movie in recent years, guess what. That's right the answer is Inglorious Basterds. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Adventures of DAWNSON!: Leather Chair
http://dawnsonchen.blogspot.com/2012/08/this-was-asset-i-worked-on-during-school.html
The Adventures of DAWNSON! This was an asset I worked on during school. I said that I would go back and to it and do some touch ups, but that was four months ago and I haven't touched it since. So I guess it time to release it into the wild. This chair looks amazing! Looks like that chair from the matrix LOL. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Rob Finlay Art: June 2011
http://robfinlayart.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 22, 2011. I Am A Pirate Queen. And it is, it is a glorious.dream. To be a pirate queen. Apologies to Gilbert and Sullivan. I played with a few options and ultimately tried to avoid an overtly aggressive pose, instead relying on lighting, perspective and expression to help sell the threat. Did I succeed? Anyway, I didn't get the position, whether because of this or another part of the test, but had a really good time doing it, so can't complain. Saturday, June 11, 2011. Also, I guess I nev...

Rob Finlay Art: HOLY CRAP I DID A PAINTING
http://robfinlayart.blogspot.com/2010/09/holy-crap-i-did-painting.html
Saturday, September 04, 2010. HOLY CRAP I DID A PAINTING. Hard to believe it's September and I won't be going back to school. I've been managing to squeeze a little painting in lately, when I'm not taking care of my daughter or reworking my demo reel (now in GLORIOUS 3D). For a while after school ended I'd open up Photoshop, doodle a little, lose interest, and go play some Dragon Age, but I feel like my enthusiasm has returned. I had a lot of fun painting this. Holy smokes, you did this in Photoshop?
