I left Bristol 24 hours ago expecting to be on the plane for 10:50, with a 1.5 hour stop in Bahrain and onward to Bangkok. Its now 14:34 on Jan 2, and although the flight allegedly leaves in an hour, and the gate was due to be announced, it hasnt. Fortunately, I had a night in a Holiday Inn, god-knows-where in Huonslow, a I feel fairly well rested, fed and fresh. It will all be OK because it has to be.
