http://thrisgreer.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 29, 2011. For people who think using blogs is a waste of time I think its become a must in education because of the technology we are heading into we might not have mandatory classroom meetings in the future so learning blogs now will help you teach others to use them. Chapter six teaches you the many way we use technology we used in the classroom. In the book the students knew how to create a blog, use them and has become very important in the classroom. Blog in Plain English.

ThrisGreerEtec: VoiceThreads Blog
http://thrisgreer.blogspot.com/2011/04/voicethreads-blog.html
Friday, April 15, 2011. The voice thread site seems like it could be a great tool for students. I know some subjects it might be hard to use in some classroom settings but with a little work I can see the benefits for the students. Since I am going to teach physical education I can't see me using this in my lessons. REFERENCE: http:/ voicethread.com/. April 15, 2011 at 9:11 PM. April 15, 2011 at 9:40 PM. Saturday, March 5, 2011. I would use a more hands on writing activity because I'm a kenisiology major and getting the students involved in the assignment helps them learn the how to of the assignment. When I was in school I've been called a hands on learner, I think its easier to learn if you actually go through what the teach is talking about. So you can get it down pack. Following the guidelines from the textbook should be something easy to do and will allow for a very affective presentation. Ch 8 and 9.

Just today: Blog 3
http://bradforddotson.blogspot.com/2011/02/blog-3.html
Thursday, February 3, 2011. According to the website:. I felt that this tool can be used in a way that would speed most of the curriculum time; to allow more opportunity to respond to feedback and classroom discussion. The discussions would be about what they actually learned in the website. I would suggest that the discussion be separate from the computer, so that the student can now visualize how they can attach what they have learned to a real-life scenario given by the teacher. Technology is surpassi...

Just today: Week 11
http://bradforddotson.blogspot.com/2011/04/week-11.html
Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Gee's principle of probing (p. 54) states that learning is a cycle of probing the world (doing something) and reflecting in and on this action and forming a hypothesis. Select 3 principles you think it would be important for education. If you were creating a simulation for your class, what activity would you support? I would absolutely support the identity principle. Children need and want to create on various different levels. This is truly an extension of their inner e...Stude...

Friday, March 4, 2011. Bringing students together in groups to use the internet to explore ideas for writing assignment seems to be a good idea to help the kids to open their minds more to different and more broad ideas. This will also get them use to associating the internet with educational purposes. The internet will help them to "think ouside the box" on writing assignments. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Dusty Dodd: week 6 blog
http://dustydodd.blogspot.com/2011/02/week-6-blog.html
Monday, February 28, 2011. Having technology like a PDA would be very beneficial not only for the teacher but also for the students. Student’s lives are very involved in technology and adding something like this to the classroom will only help better connect the teacher to her students. Having this type of technology in the classroom is only going to help teacher keep the students involved in their education. Jonassen, David H., and David H. Jonassen.
