Monday, March 14, 2005. Some more of the visual highlights of the trip. Don't worry, this batch won't spoil your appetite! We'll start with some wildlife from the safari. Here are some elephants at Lake Manyara. It's a . . . GIRAFFE! At the Ngonogoro Crater, the lions were not sleeping but on the prowl. Twas the season for migration of wildebeests and zebras. It's just not a real trip to the Serengetti without the obligatory haunting lone tree shot. Scott is wondering if that glacier is moving very fast.

Tuesday, March 01, 2005. We have spent the last two days on Matemwe Beach on the North part of Zanziabar. We have spent a fair amount of time at at bar that flys a Rastafarian flag and plays reggae music. It is owned by an Italian woman (Susan Saradon look alike per Scott) and her Rastafarian boyfriend. It has been an excellent vacation for all of us. Tomorrow we go to Stone Town, which is an Arab influenced town. Today we went snorkeling and just chilled out. Posted by Hugh @ 4:45 AM.
