Friday, October 9, 2009. These may not be as regular as I had hoped. After being told we should have cell service for the first 5 days, it now turns maybe/sometimes over the climb. I'll write these when I can in the evening and send them when I'm told I'm passing a hot spot. Where to begin. It's 11:50 PM our first night out. A bust night sleep. Start out exhausted, sleep for 3 hours that wake and toss and turn for 4 hours. October 10, 2009 at 11:28 PM. Were with you all the way! Paddling on the river.

Friday, October 2, 2009. Getting out of town. My flight is Sunday evening at 7:05 connecting through Amsterdam. Having packed and unpacked at least 7 times I'm sure the next 54 hours will give me ample opportunity to re-examine, discard and add additional items. How much is too much?
