The sides of the cake are actually sugar cookies we made.we made dough, separated and colored it, and chilled it. Then we rolled it into balls. Then we rolled it into a long "snake" and twisted it before rolling it into a spiral. They were actually fun to make and tasted absolutely delicious. Ashley earned the achievement of Valedictorian. She gave a great speech.
