Since the foundation of Meitheal, the following projects in Kilmaley have been underataken and are either completed or are works in progress. Meitheal's subsidiary company, Kilmaley Voluntary Housing Association (KVHA) undertook the construction of twelve houses for the elderly and the daycare centre in 2003. An extension to the daycare centre was completed in 2010. The total cost of these projects was 1.7 million. Meitheal has restored and renovated the blessed well area.

Since the foundation of Meitheal, the following projects in Connolly have been underataken and are either completed or are works in progress. Our FÁS employees have built stone walls in the centre of the village. We have constructed circular stone flower beds at the eastern entrance to the village, and have planted shrub beds and trees at Curran's Cross. More trees will be planted in the village. We maintain the green areas in the village.

The Annual Meitheal Sponsored Walk. This is an important social event in the parish. An open air Thanksgiving Mass or an ecumenical service is held each year at a location within the parish, followed by a picnic, sponsored walk, barbeque and social evening in one of the local pubs. 2012 Walk and Mass. About Kilmakee Camera Club. Welcome to Kilmakee Camera Club. The Club meets on the third Wednesday of every month, between September and July. Come along and improve your photography skills. Our next meeting is Wednesday 21st November at 7pm, upstairs at Kilmakee Presbyterian Church. We have a photo-walk tentatively scheduled for Saturday 17th November, going to Cultra and Holywood.
