Kilravock Castle, Croy. In the 6th century A.D., following the preaching of the missionary Columba in Inverness, the Nairn valley was evangelized and settled with several Christian churches. They were marked in place names by the prefix ‘Kil’ – the Celtic word for church. Kilravock Castle, Croy. Rose Hall is a multi-purpose conference hall which comfortably seats 150 people and can be hired out for all kinds of events. The splendid setting of the 15th century castle provides an ideal venue for small weddings which can be booked by special arrangement with the Trustees. Dormitory accommodation suitable for youth groups is available in the Granary Centre.

Kilravock Castle, Croy. The Trustees and staff of the Kilravock Christian Trust were saddened to learn of the death on 9th December 2012 of Miss Elizabeth Rose of Kilravock. Miss Rose was the inspiration behind the creation of the Trust in 1971 and she was a constant source of vision in the development of the work of the organisation over many years.
