There are daily schedule flights from Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar to Kilwa Masoko and return. Charter flights can be arranged as well at the Charter Airline Offices, although at much higher prices. Here is an air schedule of operators to Kilwa Masoko:- COASTAL AVIATION. A 6 to 8 hour trip from Dar es Salaam via Nangurukuru to Kilwa Masoko. This can be done by KILWA SEAVIEW RESORT.

Kilwa Kivinje, Kilwa Masoko and Kilwa Kisiwani with Songo Mnara and Sanje Ya Kiti. Kilwa Masoko is however the least interesting history wise, but the modern town right now and centre of operations as well as location of all modern day facilities. The others are the places to go for historical reasons.
