Monday, September 12, 2011. I don't have too many pictures from this particular weekend, but we spent 9/11 down in San Diego and went to the tidepools and really enjoyed the day together. Mo caught a crab - the kids thought it was awesome! We observed him for a while and then put him back in his home. Broken Foot {insert sad face here}. He's in that thing for a total of 4 weeks! That don't know, Ben broke his foot August 27th - 3 metatarsals. I still can't believe he broke it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. This is Ben's first soccer season! He started a few weeks with a few practices and has had 3 games so far! He really enjoys playing with his two friends, Jack and Brandon. They play great.well, until about 1/2 time and then it starts to get a little crazy! All the kids get loopy and lay on the field or wrestle with one another.or just whatever! Saturday, November 3, 2012. Everyone on our block got together for the 4th of July and had a huge BBQ. It was so much fun to eat and sit around all day! Our neighbor provided the fireworks - he must have spent a fortune. Because they went on for over 2 hours! We got out the fire pit and had a few people over to enjoy the show. Monday, November 28, 2011. Emma and Ben on Thanksgiving. Emma having Lefse (pronounced lefsa) for the first time. It's a Norwegian bread my family makes every year for. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. This has been on my list to do for a long time and I finally got it done! I wanted to make Emma her own little tutu. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. San Diego - Coronado Island. We decided to go see the Hoover Dam on the way to California. It's something we've attempted to see in the past a few times but never *quite* made it! I was happy we got to do it this time. It was really neat. I used to work for the Bureau of Reclamation so it was interesting to see what they are doing down there! It was a loooong way down! Inside on the tour - it was really interesting! Quite sure what Ben is doing with his arm! I love my Grandma!

Tuesday, December 4, 2012. H ollywood is such an interesting place. There is always so much to do and so much to see. This time, we went down and went to the Ripley's Believe It or Not museum. They had some really interesting things, I must say. So, here are a few shots from our day. A statue of the tallest man ever to live - pretty amazing! Ben doing his best imitation of Marilyn Monroe! Tuesday, March 26, 2013. New Year's in San Diego! We decided to spend New Years with friends in San Diego this year. We usually just stay home, but I'm so glad we didn't! New Year's Eve is my birthday and on that morning, everyone was being super secretive about something. And then they surprised me with a ticket to see Cavalia and I LOVED it! I never expect anything on my birthday. I really just enjoy time with family and friends, but it was really a nice surprise! I think she's ready for the party!
