My life in Haiti

My life in Haiti. Sunday, February 17, 2008. A time for everything under the sun. For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest. A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones. A time to embrace and a time to turn away. We had a very good service t...

My life in Haiti: This road...

http://www.kimberleyslifeinhaiti.blogspot.com/2008/02/this-road.html

My life in Haiti. Sunday, February 10, 2008. 8230; I’d like to share them with you. A million miles away from anything familiar. A thousand places I would rather be. So choke back the tears and try to find the bright side. Though I find it hard to see beyond my own suffering. In my heart I know your plan is so much bigger. But this small part is all I can see and I believe you haven’t left me here to wander. Still I can’t help but ponder where you’re leading me. And tell me how far must I go. I have been...

My life in Haiti. Wednesday, January 2, 2008. With the new year comes a serious vision and light for the future /. Well a quick recap of the holidays - Christmas Eve was an event filled day for sure. We had a gift ex. Between the staff and the missionary family group here. 20 of us in all. That was an absolute hullabaloo, let me tell. And we went to the beach on Christm. As Eve (who woulda thunk it! And then our gift exchange. It was such a pleasant day, though I missed home desperately. The 2 pastors co...

My life in Haiti: Since New Years --

My life in Haiti. Wednesday, January 9, 2008. Since New Years -. Oh so much has happened – again. I can hardly believe it has been. Another week gone by. So much has changed in my heart and life. Time here is so different it seems. A day can seem like an eternity, and yet they pass so quickly. I am always amazed at how much can be accomplished in one day here. We had a pastor’s conference that started on the 2. Church on Sunday was wonderful! I am very glad to report that I have not been sick for almost ...

My life in Haiti: November 2007

My life in Haiti. Friday, November 30, 2007. I am sorry that I have not posted in so long. A week has gone by and I can't hardly believe it. So much happens in one week. So much life is lived and days come and go here so quickly, or so it seems. And yet when I think about going home in April it seems a lifetime away. It's quite odd. Lol But then you wouldn't know anyway would you? There was one night that we made cookies at Lisa's house which was quite an adventure! This is a pic of me and Jen standing a...

Blue-Eyed Blog: Weekend blessings

http://sensariasusan.blogspot.com/2007/12/weekend-blessings.html

Occasional postings about my life. Sunday, December 16, 2007. Last weekend I was reminded how lucky I am to live in this community. On Saturday, I went to my friends Dana and Pete Townsend's open house and got to share my Sensaria products. Then, I took the kids downtown Olympia to a store/restaurant called Traditions. For a Dana Lyons. And the Focus the Nation. Dana and I played pool (we both suck) and I had a wonderful time! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Kim's life in Haiti.

Occasional postings about my life. Saturday, January 26, 2008. San Diego girls' weekend. I had another chance to visit San Diego last month with my friends and fellow Sensaria leaders. The weather was a bit nicer than it was in November and I especially enjoyed seeing the sun, eating outside and spending time with some of my favorite people! I fits now and we all laughed at how many times before July I'll have to take it in. I plan to wait so I only have to take it in once. ;). Friday night a few of us w...

Blue-Eyed Blog: Josh Blue

http://sensariasusan.blogspot.com/2008/02/josh-blue.html

Occasional postings about my life. Thursday, February 7, 2008. Over five years later, I saw him perform in Seattle and got to spend a little time with him after the show. He won Last Comic Standing on NBC in 2007 so now my friend is 'famous.' It is much harder to reach him because his 'people' take care of most of his communication. Then on Monday, he came to my office to see me and I wasn't there! So, I ended up using tickets I'd purchased for someone else who couldn't go. I had a great time!

http://sensariasusan.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html

Occasional postings about my life. Sunday, October 28, 2007. Fun with the girls. Last night I spent time with our Sensaria leader team and a few lucky incentive earners. Katie, Cami, Kirsten, Toni, Mary, Angie and I were there to pamper Stephanie, Kim and Marti. One of the things I take for granted since joining Sensaria is how many fabulous, amazing women I get to spend time with on a regular basis. I am so blessed! Angie made chocolate fondue with all kinds of yummy treats to dip! We stayed six nights ...

http://sensariasusan.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html

Occasional postings about my life. Friday, November 23, 2007. I am so thankful for so much! My kids are on the top of that list. We spent Thanksgiving at our house and had a fairly small gathering, yet a full traditional turkey meal with mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberries, berry and pumpkin pie. The sun shone most of the day. Nature and beautiful weather are a couple more of my blessings. Monday, November 19, 2007. They are not dead,. Who leave us this great heritage. They still breathe,.

Monday, September 26, 2016. Have you missed me? It has been a while. It has been about 5 months, the longest break I have taken from blogging. Most of my ramblings are now on Instagram. Of course. But I thought it was time to return here, share some news and thoughts, and get us all ready to celebrate something special. Since writing here, we opened Telkwa General Store and Cafe. We opened in July and haven't stopped to take a breath since! Or follow on Instagram to find out more. Thank you so much!

Humor, travel, family, satire. Hey politician’s-got a minute? To all of America’s Congress, and politician’s in general–and to even this administration’s mouth pieces. Quick question-just to clarify things. Exactly what alternate reality/planet do you come from? Seriously, inquiring minds want to know. You all obviously exist way differently from the rest of America. We wouldn’t want to be rude, so just asking here.
