Kimberly and Nate plus.two! Monday, June 11, 2012. Return to Lake Powell. Morgan and her cousins really enjoyed exploring the houseboat and beach. I had to laugh when I called her Captain Morgan. Saturday, June 25, 2011. Lake Powell with the Powells. We had a wonderful week at Lake Powell with Sam's Family. As Sam and I both have had a time without a camera we are not in the habit of taking pictures, but we are getting better. You can see that we stayed on the beautiful Desert Shadow houseboat. We stayed in a shack near Clarksdale, canoed down the Mississippi River, visited at Lake Chicot, visited the site of a 1600s trading post (now home to armadillos), stayed at DeGray Lake, took mineral baths in Hot Springs, went tubing on the Caddo River, and stopped by the Arkansas state capitol in Little Rock.
