The random happenings and goings on with my little family. When life hands you lemons, to surgery you will go. The actual test took about an hour. They inserted a dye into his system along with the lasix so they could see how his kidneys were working and draining. Once it was over they unhooked him from everything and sent us on our way. The random happenings and goings on with my little family. My nephew's first birthday! On july 7th my handsome little nephew turned ONE! I don't know how that happened so quickly but we had a great time celebrating this precious boy. my sister and her hubby threw the cutest party and i loved all of it! We all signed in on his baby book (custom made by his dad! And got our adventure pins! How cute is this? The chocolate covered 'smarshmellows' were a big hit with a sugar-crazed 3 year old i know. :).

The random happenings and goings on with my little family. Grandparents Day @ School. Last week was Grandparents Day at the boys' school. Colin was so excited to get on the stage {risers} to sing in front of everyone again. Pappy was able to come and Grammie was there too. Honey and Daddy Jay were out of town but I got a video {. Scroll to the bottom of post. So they could still see him sing. Davis even made the trip down the hall to see his big brother sing too! He will be up there before I know it.

Took a trip to Froberg's Farm for some strawberry picking. Big brother shared his cupcake (and anything else he has or wants - the life of a big brother). My baby played t-ball. More on that to come! But it was really the cutest place - we are definitely going to make another trip. colin had a blast and has actually been eating strawberries every day this week. now i just have to figure how out how to use the last 5 or 6 lbs before they go bad.
