Because Nyah's hair is so curly, it's hard to tell how long it really is.I decided to take a straightening iron to it and the result was amazing! My 6-year-old niece found this from an old Halloween costume and wanted Nyah to try it on.cracked me up! Saturday, July 17, 2010. It's time to say good-bye. To her beloved "Ba". These 3 children have very strong ties.they share a history of circumstances that brought them together at an orphanage in Awassa, Ethiopia. Now, by the grace of God's design, they are all living in West Michigan and can continue to share in each other's lives. What a blessing these 3 little ones are to all of us!

Sunday, December 27, 2009. We had a blessed Christmas! It was a wild and crazy time, and the kids really enjoyed it. Tom and I are especially glad for the week after Christmas!
