The Pleasures of Family Life. Sawant Family est. 2006. Monday, July 13, 2015. We went to NC for a quick weekend trip on the 4th of July. I can't believe it but I didn't take any pics until the last day when the girls visited their cousins. I kept meaning to take pics with the boys and then later forgot :-(. Stuff and More Stuff: August 2011
http://kathrynstoker.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Stuff and More Stuff. Saturday, August 20, 2011. So this is the weekend I got to meet the family I never knew I had. I took a road trip to Oklahoma City, OK. Friday morning came and I was as nervous as could be.it's not like I haven't ever traveled and met pure strangers, a person or two or ten that have shown themselves friendly by speaking a word or two over twitter, blogging, or facebook. Years ago, a series of events took place (events in which no one. One family member went out of the way to search ...

Stuff and More Stuff: Leadership
http://kathrynstoker.blogspot.com/2012/02/leadership.html
Stuff and More Stuff. Sunday, February 26, 2012. What is leadership if we do not listen to others, we do not strengthen others, and we do not have faith in who the Lord has called us to be? I struggle so much to try and fit, but realize so clearly now that I am simply a misfit. I don't fit into other's idea of perfection, I may not have a brilliant mind, but I am me.I do my best to live right, to be an example for others.and what is that if not leadership? Stuff and More Stuff: February 2012
http://kathrynstoker.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Stuff and More Stuff. Monday, February 27, 2012. Will there be any more said of us other than the year or two we served? I don't know about you, but if I lose all my friends, I will serve Him without exception. It won't be pretty, and people will hate me for speaking the truth, but what have I to lose? In the end, maybe I'll have a word or two beyond my years of serving. :). Sunday, February 26, 2012. Let's be leaders by listening, strengthening, and KNOWING who we are in Him! Tuesday, March 11, 2014. The lamp on the table was a Goodwill find.how lovely. It is Wintertide.still.again.sigh. The snow is coming down with great fury, sometimes sideways, covering everything and anything in a coat of white. I have just returned from my sojourn outside.checking on critters, starting a fire in the greenhouse, and gathering more wood to keep the back parlour stove blazing.now it is time for tea! The curtain on the left works wonders helping my dear little kitchen to stay warm! Now, I sh...

Honey Hill Farm: Frugal Monday.....
http://honeyhillfarmshan.blogspot.com/2008/06/frugal-monday.html
Monday, June 2, 2008. As today was a Monday and the beginning of June, I took the time to pay all of our bills and plan my menu for the month. Whilst I have reduced our monthly bills just about as far as possible, I had a bit of wiggle room in regards to my menu for June and the cost to feed my family. I am browsing all of my wonderful cookbooks and will be replacing my old cool weather menu with my warm weather concoctions! Pickles and relish are staples in this house and we will need a multitude of pan...

Honey Hill Farm: Golly Gosh it's a Post!.....
http://honeyhillfarmshan.blogspot.com/2011/04/golly-gosh-its-post.html
Thursday, April 14, 2011. Golly Gosh it's a Post! Spring has sprung and it has taken me hostage with all its diversions! I have been thinking and pondering and puttering.both inside and outside.poor Dearest, I can think of far more "projects" in one afternoon than he could ever finish in a lifetime! First, our dear old home is in need of a paint job. Now I could just paint it in the existing color scheme and call it a day, but what fun would that be? The historic Hale House.
