Monday, September 19, 2011. Our Mostly Finished Living Room. I have this ugly orange folder where I keep my house decorating inspirations. It's like a more archaic form of Pinterest. I call it Staplering:. Anyway, this month we officially celebrated our one-year anniversary as Savannah homeowners. Though I have completely underestimated how long it takes to finish working on a home, our living room is for the most part complete. This is what it looked like when we moved in:. And here's what we did:.

Thursday, May 29, 2014. Any Northwest baby needs a good set of jackets! Side note A: Yes, there happens to be a letter B hanging on the wall behind the baby's crib.but who knows what that really means. Baby? Side note B: Also, I was really into getting a live plant for the baby's room. When I brought the plant home one day, Andrew asked me what it was. "It's the baby's plant," I said. "The baby's plant? Why would the baby need a plant? My husband inquired. "Well obviously. Get here already, baby. You...

The Browns: June 2011

Sunday, June 26, 2011. We pulled it off. This is the face of someone who didn't expect to see you in the airport, 4,000 miles away from your home, and thus can only continuously and adamantly shout the word "No" (caught here mid-sentence) in disbelief:. And these are the faces of two siblings reunited after two years of being apart:. Though mildly traumatic, surprises are the best. Labels: airport surprises: more fun and less shocking than unexpected pregnancies. Sunday, June 19, 2011. Fortunately, Bosto...

The power of love is a curious thing". Thursday, January 8, 2015. How to Distinguish the Holy Spirit from the Serpent. I came across this article. On the Ligonier blog. And found it helpful. Wanted to post it here too. How to Distinguish the Holy Spirit from the Serpent. Nov 17, 2014. So the promised gift of that covenant, the ind...

Monday, June 18, 2012. Sometimes We Make Things. About six months ago, I fell in love with this bookcase from World Market:. Activity. So we got some wood and Andrew built the frame. Also, everyone's garage looks like this, right? No room for cars. Just tires. Then I had the really important job of "distressing" the wood, which required me to nail holes in the wood, or bang it with a hammer, or drag a screw driver over Andrew's meticulous framework. I am gifted in forms of destruction. So here's hoping g...

The Browns: One Year Later: Benjamin's Birth Story
http://lyndrewbrown.blogspot.com/2015/06/one-year-later-benjamins-birth-story.html
Tuesday, June 9, 2015. One Year Later: Benjamin's Birth Story. Note: I wrote most of this story a few months after giving birth, but finished it only recently. It is very long, but to be fair, so was my labor. Texts to cease, I went on a long uphill walk with Andrew. Mammoth feet be damned, this baby needed to get out. Seems like those two things are on the same time trajectory…. Seriously. As in just after a 2? After what felt like 2 days of active labor and 2 weeks of early labor? The midwives were hap...

Friday, January 24, 2014. While I'm leaving out a lot of details, as of the end of December, Andrew was officially on terminal leave and we began plotting our long road trip westward. Though Andrew doesn't currently have a job (to answer the obvious question.), since he is on terminal leave from the military he still has a paycheck until March 1st. So we're not quite as crazy and capricious as we seem. Andrew has made. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Elizabeth Madox Roberts Society.
