8 is GREAT!: Happy Belated Birthday!
http://jason-andreasmith.blogspot.com/2013/01/happy-belated-birthday.html
Sunday, January 13, 2013. This was the year that she really understood what birthdays were all about. She was so excited! It was such a lovely day outside so for lunch we had a picnic at the park. It was fun to get out of the house. In the evening we had a little party. It was low-key, but we still had fun. Our sweet blue eyed Brynlie. This was her new birthday outfit. She loved the little bow on the shoulder. Kamary did the decorating honors. The Blue Kitty with her blue kitty cake. Blue, of course!

8 is GREAT!: June 2011

Sunday, June 19, 2011. I was blessed to have a wonderful father. So, since it's 2011, I thought I'd share 11 reasons why my dad is great! 1- My dad is a great example of learning. He finds something he's interested in and learns all about it. 2- My dad is a people person. He's not afraid to walk up to a complete stranger and start talking to them. 3- My dad is a righteous man. He is such a great example of one who serves the Lord. 5- My dad loves the outdoors. I love camping and hiking with him. Now here...

8 is GREAT!: April 2011
http://jason-andreasmith.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 10, 2011. Here is Dad and Alyssa, all dressed and ready to go. When this picture was taken, Alyssa was one of the most perfect people on earth! Not a single blemish! Some kids after they are baptized try super hard to stay perfect and then are devastated when they make a mistake. Not Alyssa, later on during the day she happily informed me that she hadn't had to repent very much that day (just a little)! Way to go, Alyssa! Posted by AZ SMITHS. She's definitely excited about being a teenager ...

8 is GREAT!: March 2012
http://jason-andreasmith.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 25, 2012. I thought I'd post a bunch of random things that we've been doing lately. About a month ago, we got a case of head lice. With 5 girls I've kind of become the head lice expert (much to my dismay). This time around, Lauren and Kohler had it. With Lauren we had to go through her hair day after day like normal.but with Kohler, we just buzzed him. How easy is that? He may look like a prison convict, but at least he's lice free (and still handsome of course). Alyssa and Kamary went to a...

8 is GREAT!: August 2012
http://jason-andreasmith.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 12, 2012. THE DAY HAS ARRIVED! In our church, girls turning 12 graduate from Primary and go to a program called Young Women that is geared toward teens. Kamary has always been mature for her age and has been tired of Primary for quite a while. I think she wanted to go into Young Women when she was 9 or something. So it has been an excruciating 3 years waiting to be old enough to graduate! Kamary and her friend Kayli at Hobby Lobby. Making tie dye frosting. Kamary hard at work, being her ex...

8 is GREAT!: May 2012
http://jason-andreasmith.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 6, 2012. After telling people I would blog about Easter for several weeks now, I'm finally sitting down at my computer. Here are the Easter Baskets. This year Hanna and Alyssa found out (or realized) who the Easter Bunny truly is. They handled it pretty well. I think they've known for some time. My kids really are growing up. Each Easter I try to make new dresses for church. Here are my kids sporting their new Easter outfits for the year. This year I even made myself a skirt. Hanna with her b...

RoseGarden: What do these items have in common?
http://rprosegarden.blogspot.com/2009/09/what-do-these-have-in-common.html
Watching our garden of little Roses grow. Sunday, September 6, 2009. What do these items have in common? Post a comment to find out! Posted by DC Roses. Thanks for humoring us. And now for the answer. As we were gathering all of these household items into a pile for the picture, Aaron walked in with wide excited eyes and shouted, OOOOH, BLASTERS! September 6, 2009 at 4:50 PM. But I was going to guess! Now I know my guess was wrong, it was going to be They were all found in a pile under the boys beds.
