Sunday, October 26. We headed to a nearby pumpkin patch this weekend to let the boys pick their own pumpkins. Sunday, December 28. It was so good to get out Friday that we thought we'd try it again on Saturday. There is so much in and around Richmond it was easy to stay local. We thought we'd start with Cold Harbor- one of several civil war battlefields in the area. It wasn't too hard to tell what Camden thought of our idea. Luckily, Tara was happy to be there. One of the still-visible trenches. 18,000 men died here. We found this view at the top of a big hill. Hyrum thought it was fun to not look at the camera.

Sunday, May 17. When we moved to Virginia last year, one of the things we were excited about was Planet Snoopy. Camden was a huge Peanuts fan and it was awesome that the park was only 15 minutes away and Camden got in free. Our whole family got passes to the larger park and waterpark, Kings Dominion, and we had an awesome summer. It took a few minutes to get him to stop jumping up and down when we got there. The sheep is Scottish. The boys actually are too. Camden flew DaVinci's kite like it was old news.
