http://seakayakangler.blogspot.com/2014/11/scarborough-to-hayburn-wyke.html
Monday, 3 November 2014. Scarborough to Hayburn Wyke. It was difficult to find the enthusiasm to load the car on Sunday morning, it was raining stair rods and the forecast wasn't that much better. I'm just so glad we did, on arrival in North Bay-Scarborough, the day was much brighter. Dave and Marion where having breakfast sat outside the beach front cafe and we were soon joined by Roger who had made the long journey from Lincoln. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sea Kayak Angler: June 2010
http://seakayakangler.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 21 June 2010. Sharkatag and the Mull of Galloway. Had a wonderful long weekend with good friends fishing. Highlight of the weekend for me was a very quick and dynamically planned trip around the Mull head, conditions were good, tides were right, I was in the right place at the right time, only one thing to do - go for it. Sunday, 13 June 2010. A Splash In the Bay. First off onto the end of the Brigg - a huge rock outcrop that sticks out into the north sea. Wreck Fishing from Kayak. Hi and welcome...

Sea Kayak Angler: August 2010
http://seakayakangler.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 31 August 2010. Yorkshire Coast Paddle 2010 - in Aid of the RNLI. The forecast was always going to be rather borderline and we launched apprehensively from Skiningrove into breaking waves. Heading down towards Staithes the large northerly swell was very much evident. We met up with the rest of the group coming out of Staithes. Nicky, Angela, John and Martin. As a group we made our way towards Whitby. Martin and Dave publicised our quest. We also took the opportunity to have a look at the weather...

About the Event | Hexham TT
http://tynetour.co.uk/wordpress/welcome
Hexham Canoe Club and friends welcome you back to our part of the paddling world, for Europe’s largest mass participation canoeing event. As a result of a major review into the purpose and organisation of the Tyne Tour we relaunched it for 2014 as the Tyne Tour Festival. This brought with it some changes to the event from previous years, of course there were the usual things that bring members of the paddling community back to the River Tyne year on year. History of the Tyne Tour. Dr Mike Jones was an ic...

Sea Kayak Angler: March 2010
http://seakayakangler.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Monday, 29 March 2010. Out Of The Comfort Zone. Weather was looking just a little borderline yesterday with fairly strong SW to W winds, forecast was for 4 occasionally 5, dropping to 3 later. We surmised that if we tucked right in under the North Yorkshire cliffs we would be able to achieve a nice A to B journey sheltered from the worst of the weather. The small wavelets soon began building into surf able waves. We rounded the corner expecting shelter but found the wind was somehow cycloning around ...
