This is my life. Life is short. Live our dream and share your passion! Having a ‘do nothing day’. February 20, 2015. 일과 취미와 재미의 경계가 허물어진다는 것은 굉장한 일이다. 내가 좋아하는 일을 하게되면서부터 일이 일로만 느껴지지 않게 되었다. 일을 통해서 내가 사랑하는 서비스를 더 많은 사람들에게 알리는 일이 너무 좋았고, 일을 하면서 스스로 발전하는 모습을 보는 것이 뿌듯했다. 누군가 메일을 보냈을때 가장 빨리 답장해주는 사람이 되는 것도 좋았고, 그래서 그 누군가에게 도움이 되고 일이 빨리 처리되는 모습을 보는 것이 좋았다. 그런데 요즘은, 이게 잘하는 짓인가? 새롭고 다른 생각을 하고 싶은데, 매일 일어나는 일상업무들과 관련된 생각을 하는데 메모리를 거의 다 쓰는 바람에, 더 크고 더 넓고 더 이상한 생각들을 하는데에 쓸 메모리가 없어져 버린 느낌. May 13, 2015. 아무 문제 없을 줄 알았던 일은 마지막에 말썽을 부리고,. 바로 결정하기 어려운 선택지들은 점점 많아지고,. 급박한 상황에 닥쳐 일을 처리하기 보다 내잘못 네 잘못 따지고 있고,. 기대 이하의 수준으로 실망하게 만들고. 뭐, 나도 누군가에게는 그럴 수도 있겠지라고 생각하지만, 그래도 여전히 이해할 수 없는 부분들이 많다. 어쨌든 오늘은 긴 하루였다. January 18, 2015. 유투브룰 뒤적이다 오랜만에 오프라윈프리가 나오는 인터뷰 프로그램과 그녀가 최근에 만든 몇 개의 쇼를 시청했다. 고등학교때부터 오프라윈프리쇼를 (영어공부를 한다는 핑계로) 열심히 시청했는데, 그때는 그녀를 단순히 어려움을 이겨내고 성공한 유명한 토크쇼 진행자 정도로 생각했던 것 같다. 그런데 이번에 그녀의 인터뷰와 쇼를 보니, 그녀는 내가 생각했던 것보다 더 멋지게 자신의 삶을 창조해낸 사람이었다. 요즘 읽고 있는 책에도 이런 말이 나온다. 8220;Life is an ongoing process of creation. You’re creating your reality every minute.”. 과거에 사로잡히거나 관습에 얽매이지 않고, 매 순간 내가 하는 일을 믿고 나를 창조하는 것. 오프라 윈프리가 자신의 삶에 적용시킨 것처럼.

May 12, 2015. 라고 이야기하는 건 정말 같잖지만, 나는 어떻게 보면 꿈을 이뤘다. 내 꿈은 언제나 내가 하고 싶은 일과, 내가 할 수 있는 것, 그리고 내가 해야하는 것이 삼위일체되는 무언가를 하는 거였는데, 내가 지금 하고 있는 일은 내가 하고 싶은 일이면서 내가 할 수 있는 일이고, 또 내가 해야하는 일이니까. 그렇게 생각하면 나는 정말 행복하고 감사할 것이 많은 사람이다. 비교적 빨리 내가 변화시키고 싶은 어떤 가치를 찾아서 그 가치를 만들어 내기 위해서 일하고 있는 거니까. 단순히 멋있어 보이는 일을 하기 위해서 일하는 것이 아닌, 내가 중요하게 생각하는 가치를 위해서 일하는 것이 좀 더 길게 지치지 않고 가는 방법이 아닐까 하는 생각이 든다. 그런 의미에서 오늘도 수고했음! May 11, 2015. 오랜만에 요가 수업에 갔다. 약 3주만인가? 우붓의 5분만에 땀이 줄줄 흐르고 손발이 후덜덜거리는 빡센 요가수업을 듣다가 한국에서 수업을 들으니 비록 모든 동작을 100% 완벽하게 소화하지는 못하지만, 모든 수업이 그렇게 힘들지 않게 느껴진다. 그러고보면 뭐든 어떤 임계점을 넘어서는 경험을 하는 것은 중요한 것 같다. 우붓에서 보냈던 2주간의 빡센 요가 수련으로 요가에 대한 내 임계점이 한참 높아졌듯이, 내 스스로의 한계를 시험하는 몇 번의 힘들고 챌린징한 경험들은 길게보면 인생에 꽤나 도움이 되는 것 같다. 아무튼 결론은 일주일에 3번만이라도 꾸준히 요가 수련을 합시다!
