Not much has been happening since my last post, hence why I haven't blogged in a while. But TOMORROW I am going to Italy! The weather is going to be nice :D should come back nice and tanned :). Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Kiwi and the bear! Day one and two of the Europe trip have been amazing! I cannot believe all the things I have seen. Colosseum, roman ruins, all the wonders of Rome! We walked along the river, ate a gelato recommended by our amazing host Pietro and went a little shopping. We have seen already so many churches and squares that I cannot remember all of them! Wednesday, July 4, 2012. One month to go! Today, 4th of July. Commonly known to Americans as Independence Day. But to me this means something a little different. It means ONE MONTH UNTIL I FLY TO NZ! Can't believe it is all ending. But I can't wait to see my family again. A wise friend (Dener) told me that the end of an exchange year is like a giraffe sinking in quicksand. First comes denial: Pshhh no way. Don't be silly. New Zealand? I am not going home! I am staying here! I'll find a job too!
