Sunday, November 1, 2009. We were honored and thankful to have Pa and Mom visit us in our home and stay for a few days. We had a lot of laughs, good talks, and together time. Thanks for coming to see us! We couldn't leave the tack store until we got a few silly hat pictures! Big smiles and laughs at the big tags on the fronts of the hats. A staged picture taken by the self timer and the funny little mystery box in the corner of the hallway. We were so proud of ourselves for making it happen! A Cherry On ...

Monday, June 22, 2009. Happy Father's Day Pa! I wanted to do a tribute to my SWEET Pa for Father's Day! Then he would let us unlace his boots and take them off for him. Kids are easily entertained! His love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, target practicing, riding horses, and working cattle are all things I enjoy too. I love the jokes he comes up with just to make me laugh! So here's a shout out to my Pa for being the best Pa to a thankful family! The BEST Papa in the world! Good 'ol...

OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS. Nanny and Grandpa's journal on living on a mini farm, taking care of a host of "animals". Monday, May 25, 2009. A Warrior at rest. I've put this off for a while because I wanted to avoid my feelings at my father's passing. My mother's passing was only a short 3 and 1/2 months ago. Not really wanting to deal with the emotion of the ordeal I have filled my time with preparing for his celebration into the rest. Valley country side as he preached in small congregations a...

http://abaseballwidow.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 2, 2009. This is the right side of our house before the renovation started. I took this picture from the back door step. The backyard fence originally stopped at the back of the house. Tim is watching our neice and nephews this summer so they have been helping with the project. Tim and Evan raking the rocks off here. The measurements are taken for the garden boxes and the new fence posts are in concrete here. The outside boards for the boxes are built. Yay we have a garden! A Cherry On Top.
