Jared, Kimmie, and Caleb Herbert share our family "adventures". Last week Jared need to be in Vegas for a trade show so I had the chance to pop on over and stay for a few days while he was working. I am so thankful for Mimi, who watched Caleb while I went to Sin City! I had been there about 6 years ago for Sarah's. My favorite hotel had to be the Wynn hands down. There was so much color in their decor and they had fabulous water features. Here are a couple pictures of the Wynn inside and out:.

Jared, Kimmie, and Caleb Herbert share our family "adventures". Last weekend I went to Atwater (my home town) to pick up my cousins for a couple days of adventure, work and FUN. On Thursday I picked them up and we made our way to whole paycheck I mean whole foods, where we purchased some lunch and a $6 vanilla bean. Alton Brown has this amazing vanilla ice cream recipe. In fact, a couple nights ago, he was dreaming about it b/c I heard him talk in his sleep about racing. Last weekend we went out to the track. In Atwater to support my nephews, Lamoni and Ammon. They started off the morning with the trophy presentation from the previous race. In this picture, Ammon is in 1st place and Lamoni is in 2nd, you can't get much better than that! This year we were at 5 different locations starting at our house and ending at my Dad's. Here are a couple pictures to represent our day of celebration:. Well, we have made it 5 years! It has been a lot of fun. To celebrate we went to dinner at. It was flippin' awesome! Way too much food, but oh so good and we ate until we were ill. Sunday, April 12, 2009. Sara's Surgery.Successful and Serendipitous. Mark was a visitor at the hospital on Tuesday 4/7/09. So was Sara, though she was visiting to have a more qualified professional than Mark remove some unwanted visitors from her insides. As you all know Sara, she was smiling even while having an IV stuck in her arm. I passed out twice just looking at her. Sara is allergic to hospital food, so they put this orange bracelet on her just in case some nasty old nurse tried anything foolish.

It's All About . Friday, March 30. Random project that may or may not get done. Many, many years ago I bought a metal tree to display photos that hangs on my wall. It is, at this point, thoroughly covered in photos. So many, actually, that no one can even tell that it's a tree, and the photos instead look like a big blob of pics hanging from a wall somehow.
