Rob Kimmons: April 2011
http://robkimmonsblog.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 3, 2011. Most places I’ve ever been to have some form of the following places. The first picture is Karen in the hospital waiting room. It’s basically outdoors, with some high metal shades that block the sun. The worried look on her face shows we had no idea what to expect from the ultrasound that morning. Nothing recharges me like a game of ping-pong at the end of the work-day. Here you see my co-teacher Johan (a retired Dutch economics professor) and my teammate Dave in a lively point...

Joie en Dieu: Our baby
http://joieendieu.blogspot.com/2008/06/our-baby.html
At dusk In Waza. Thursday, 26 June 2008. I know this isn't a very good picture but sometimes you've just got to use what you have on hand when the opportunity comes to write an entry into your blog! The machine is a small portable ultrasound machine and the baby looked much smaller and fuzzier than Ben looked when we saw him on the inside. All the same, I got to see his or her face and hands and feet and all the organs! Posted by Rae Lynn. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://travellingmidwife.blogspot.com/2012/12/well-openings.html
Thursday, December 27, 2012. Wow, its been a while since I've posted anything; I've got lots to catch up on. For those of you who follow my email updates, you know that October and November were busy with well stuff. The wells had been drilled earlier this year, but due to rainy season and the month of fasting, we had to wait til October to finish putting in cement platforms and installing the pumps. In some of the villages we actually had women present, which was great, especially as they are the primar...

Joie en Dieu: November 2007
http://joieendieu.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
At dusk In Waza. Tuesday, 13 November 2007. Ben used a spoon today! I recently met a little boy, Ethan, who is two days younger. Posted by Rae Lynn. Monday, 5 November 2007. The first Monday of the month. Of course being in the last level means nothing. Everything is graded on a curve, and they are never going to leave just 2 students in a class. None the less, I have a great feeling of accomplishment, releife, joy. I, for the first time in months, moved up a class. I have made progress!

As Americans we believe that we have the right to not get ripped off (one that exists in different forms outside the US but generally you need to learn the system of the society you live in for this right to apply to you). We (this one is very important to my Dad,) enjoy the rig...
