This time last year I was still recovering from SARPE surgery and struggling to eat my Christmas dinner. Not this year though! Nothing much has happened, just waiting for my teeth to move (which will take a while yet)! My consultant orthodontist left a tiny bit of wire poking out, though, and boy did it hurt! And the best part is, I now don’t have a bit of wire digging into my mouth making me bleed every time I eat or talk! Feeling a right metal mouth.

Here’s a list of the supplies that really helped me at the hospital and during my recovery at home. I recommend transferring some of these products to travel-sized bottles (I bought some from the dollar store). That way when you get home from the hospital, you can put your supplies on a tray that you can carry to and from your bedroom.
