Getting Here — Kimsquit Bay Lodge

Guests are required to get themselves to the South Terminal of Vancouver, BC. Some guests may choose to drive themselves to Vancouver, there is free parking available. Flights depart Vancouver at 1:30pm and arrive at the lodge by 4pm. Returning flights to Vancouver should arrive around 7pm. I’ve been out of the game for a solid two weeks with hernia surgery. Meanwhile, my fishing buddies kept at it and had a great time with the Albacore fishing in dory boats out of Pacific City. I’m closing with the fifth fly I tied five days ago, a 3XL version of the Dead Chicken shown in Les Johnson’s Sea-run Cutthroat book. The hook is a size 8 the body is bright yellow uni yarn, and the hackle is long stiff grizzly from the base of a rooster cape.
