Bringing Will Home: Will is officially a citizen!!
http://bringingwillhome.blogspot.com/2008/06/will-is-officially-citizen.html
Our journey to bring our son home from Vietnam. Friday, June 27, 2008. Will is officially a citizen! Late last night (or I guess this morning) we arrived in LA. We passed through Customs/Immigration without much trouble and Will's Vietnamese passport was stamped with his official Visa stamp for U.S. Citizenship! Nancy cried (again). So, we made it into the country - now we just need to get to Hopkins and this portion of our adventure will be complete. Already planning our next visit. Love you, Tammie.

http://bringingwillhome.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Our journey to bring our son home from Vietnam. Sunday, June 29, 2008. Back Home in Hopkins. We made it home! After much drama at the airport, we made the flight by about 22 seconds! Tears again, this time from sheer exhaustion and frustration. We were being paged as we ran to the gate with stroller and shoes in hand! Flight was fine and we were met by the Hellstroms with balloons and a Welcome Home sign for our boy! When Will saw them he was jumping up and down in his stroller! Because we have had such ...

Bringing Will Home: We have clearance!!!
http://bringingwillhome.blogspot.com/2008/06/we-have-clearance.html
Our journey to bring our son home from Vietnam. Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Happy to report that all went well with the Visa's. No interview needed, but it was looking grim for awhile. When we arrived there was a family there who had been waiting for 8 weeks! They had special circumstances, but still, 8 weeks! Then they told us that the families that applied yesterday did not get Visa's right away. So we just looked at eachother and sighed. So, on to finding a new way home. Tomorrow we can enjoy Hanoi - ...

Bringing Will Home: Still hot in Hanoi!
http://bringingwillhome.blogspot.com/2008/06/still-hot-in-hanoi.html
Our journey to bring our son home from Vietnam. Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Still hot in Hanoi! Still hot here, but today we were able to go to the Temple of Literature which is a university of sorts that was built in 1070. Really beautiful. It was built to honor Confucious who turns out to be a pretty great guy! He was lovely. Told us he was 81 and asked how old we were. That was a little odd, but he was really a nice man and it was fun to chat with him. June 25, 2008 at 7:27 AM. I love the idea of a plac...
