Mrs. Grissom's Stars: December 2012
http://grissomstars.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 18, 2012. We had a great Grinch day and so much fun Polar Express Day! Our polar express tickets let them in to ride our "train". We watched the part of the movie that looks almost 3D and pretended to move when the train moved. Then we had our hot chocolate and ended with a special treat sent from the North Pole and a note from Santa. They really loved the "frozen" bells off his sleigh! The kids had the BEST time making gingerbread houses! They concentrated and made them look so great!

http://kinderdi.blogspot.com/2012/08/printing-on-those-cute-die-cut-papers.html
Our Type 1 Story. Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Printing on those cute die cut papers! I've been working in my classroom this week.not a whole lot of photos to share yet, but I thought I'd share how I use my ink jet printer to print on die cuts. I am using these cute cupcakes I found at the Dollar Tree for my birthday board. They are pretty light weight paper, but this method also works on card stock die cuts. First, I print whatever I want to put on the die cut onto a white sheet of paper. Here is a pictu...

I often put curtains on the shelves in my room to cover items for storage. I tell the children that anything behind the curtain is not usable right now, but will be rotated out over the next few months. Here is a quick and easy curtain I made using a Dollar Tree table cloth. Thanks for checking in and have a great day! Links to this post. Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Tuesday, August ...

Kinderdi: June 2014
http://kinderdi.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Our Type 1 Story. Sunday, June 8, 2014. Thought I'd share a few of the class books we wrote this year. We did Deanna Jump's Wheels on the Bus phonemic awareness activity. We do an ABC book early in the year.the children each color a letter of the alphabet.an easy one for them to read and sing. (This idea came from Shari Sloane.). We read the book Mary Wore Her Red Dress. Each child created a page based on the pattern of the song. This one is based on the book Big and Little. Links to this post. How many ...
