Getting over my fear of the gym, food and exercise, one day at a time. Life could not be more different…. September 25, 2014 in Uncategorized. Has it been easy? Why did I cry? Because over 39 years I developed an emotional relationship with food. Food never let me down, and now it does. I craved a skor blizzard from Dairy Queen all summer. It has been the only food since my surgery to make me vomit. Ask me how upsetting that was! Also still wicked hard. Lifting weights? Having a gastric bypass isn’...

Stitch Lisidy: Planning...
http://stitchlisidy.blogspot.com/2010/08/planning.html
Saturday, August 14, 2010. I've taken the first steps to making my own version of Ara Jane's. I have most of the fabric picked out (I just need one more in a yellow or a chocolate brown) and I have the quilt all planned. Finished it should fit my nephew's twin bed. Now that I'm settled in Texas I went looking for a great fabric store near me, and I'm happy to report that less than five minutes down the street I found Cabbage Rose. Now to get cutting so I can show some progress soon. Sew It To Me.

Stitch Lisidy: Christmas in July
http://stitchlisidy.blogspot.com/2010/07/christmas-in-july.html
Friday, July 9, 2010. I have three nephews and one niece all under that age of 7 and I've decided I want to make them each a twin sized quilt for Christmas. By early August I'll be settled in my new place in Fort Worth, TX so my plan is to sew one quilt a month during August, September, October and November. I think I'm up for the challenge. Now I just have to decide what to make. I don’t have any plans set in stone yet, but these are what I’m inspired by right now…. By Ara Jane at What Ara Jane Loves.
