Monday, February 2, 2015. I do love watercolors, so I had to join in over at CAS-ual Fridays. Where the challenge is "Must Love Watercolors". This is a big bird, and watercolors are perfect for coloring in large spaces like this. I used my trusty Twinkling H2O's and tried to make it look like a bluebird.I think I am longing for some spring bird visitors. But instead we are receiving another foot of snow! Wednesday, May 28, 2014. You are the Best! The beautiful heart on this card was made with a stamp that had been inked with distress inks and then misted before it was stamped. I used 2 die cuts on the card, a heart from Stampin Up and the "you" die from Simon Says Stamp. This is another card inspired by the Online Card class that was all about watercolors for stampers. I'm linking this up to Less is More. Where the challenge this week is to use die cuts, and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge blog.

Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Here is another card inspired by the Watercolor for Cardmakers Online Card Class. I used a technique on this card that I rarely use, heat embossing. The background swirls are heat embossed, along with the sentiment. That makes them really pop! I love that "you" die cut. I added a little faux stitching on the edge of the sentiment flag to anchor it down. I am linking this up to the Case Study blog. I am also linking up to the Moxie Fab World: Wonderful Words Challenge.
