Scribble Theology: March 2011
http://scribbletheology.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Frosting, cake, life, and me. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I'm preaching on Rahab tomorrow, to fulfill sermon requirements of (1) preaching from the First Testament and (2) preaching on a female character. I figure since I'm well on my way to reading every single ATLA article that uses Joshua as a text, and since I just did a paper on Rahab, I'd go ahead and stick to what's easy. See, Rahab was a prostitute. Don't believe me? How about the Bible? In Greek ( porne. OK kids, I think if you're trying to cover...

Scribble Theology: August 2012
http://scribbletheology.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Frosting, cake, life, and me. Thursday, August 09, 2012. Pro-gun folks: No, you would have not have stopped the Aurora massacre. You would have hugged the floor sobbing, or maybe maybe. Taken some shots in the crowded, gas-filled movie theater with gunshots ringing out and the movie still playing, missed the shooter by about 75 feet, and hit some random bystander. Anti-gun folks: Dude would have gotten himself an assault rifle whether it was legal or not. I'm with you, but your argument is not here.

So I was thinking..: September 2010
http://beinggugel.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
So I was thinking. Thursday, September 16, 2010. My parents came out to visit labor day weekend which was awesome! I got to show them around where I live and all of Nathaniel's grandparents got to meet them. It was great hanging out with them, taking them to church, and just chit-chatting. The 4 days together went by too quickly. At the end of the month I am getting a roommate/basement-mate from Ohio. She is moving here for much of the same reason I did, which is uber cool! So I was thinking..: Today is Nathaniel's Birthday
http://beinggugel.blogspot.com/2012/07/today-is-nathaniels-birthday-his.html
So I was thinking. Monday, July 9, 2012. Today is Nathaniel's Birthday. Today is Nathaniel's birthday! His schedule for the day: work, Softball practice immediately following, and home around 8-8:30 tonight. So no birthday meal today, I hope to make a appetizer or something else light for him to have when he gets home from practice. We celebrated his birthday on Saturday going to the Phillies vs Braves game in the evening, and while we lost we had a great time! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

So I was thinking..: May 2012
http://beinggugel.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
So I was thinking. Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Making a house a home. This spring I spent quite a few hours hand digging up around my and Nathaniel's brick porch so that I could create a small flower bed. After a few big roots, many many small trailing roots, grass and weed clods it was finally dug up and ready! Now after some shopping I have this! What is the big empty space for? Well I am glad to let you know that my wonderful mother gave me Zeni and Cosmos seeds that I planted in that space! On a similar n...

So I was thinking..: 1 year Anniversary
http://beinggugel.blogspot.com/2012/10/1-year-anniversary.html
So I was thinking. Monday, October 1, 2012. Today is Nathaniel and my anniversary. What did we do this past weekend to celebrate? Well nothing for our anniversary, but as we are youth sponsors for the high school youth group at church we did go white water rafting on the Youghiogheny River in Western, PA! Making it through all rapids and challenges but one with laughter, conversation, and enjoyment. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? A good adventure and a line to cross out on my bucket list (looking forward ...

Scribble Theology: On maleficence
http://scribbletheology.blogspot.com/2014/06/on-maleficence.html
Frosting, cake, life, and me. Friday, June 06, 2014. Originally posted on my new personal blog. In the over a year that I have not really been an active blogger, several topics have made it onto a list of things I really want to blog about. Knowing, however, that my thoughts on these topics are bound to wane in poignance as well as timeliness, I'm going to skip straight to what made me sit down tonight. I went to see Maleficent. Tonight, and I have some thoughts. The death is usually a direct result of t...
