Martha’s Vineyard Fiber Farm. Martha’s Vineyard Fiber Farm. Kraut, vinegar, and kefir, oh my. September 12, 2012, 11:23 pm. I recently found out about a monthly community exchange of consumable goods and joined up. I can’t decide whether to contribute 14 shares of kraut or 14 portions of some preparation of the ridiculous quantity of collard greens currently exploding at the garden. What should I go for? The fermented delicacy or the slow-cooked autumnal greens? 1 Comment so far. Enter your comment here.

Tree Gate Farm: May 2013
http://treegatefarm.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Holy cow - the rhubarb my mom divided for us three years ago has exploded this year. Lots of composted manure, sheet mulching with cardboard, and a mountain of wood chips has really paid off. It's great having all this rhubarb to fill out our booth at market and as something special for our CSA customers early in the season. Among them, Felicia's Atomic Lounge. And The Good Truck. Can go through 30-40 lbs a week too! Time to get back out and finish planting and transplanting. ...

Tree Gate Farm: September 2012

Thursday, September 13, 2012. While were only a few days past the end of summer, the farm is in full swing to prepare for winter already. It fell to 43 degrees the other night, so we've put the end walls back up on the high tunnels and have been busy preparing and planting beds for overwintering. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
