We are a blogging year 1 class from Brighton. Monthly Archives: March 2015. The Planetarium and Solar Eclipse. This week Penguins have had a Phonics day in Year 1 and did a carousel of different carousel. The children worked brilliantly and their phonological knowledge is improving daily. Penguins also had a Maths day working on our concept of number, halving shapes and repeated patterns using peg boards. Keep up all your hard work! Penguins have been trying to find the missing number in number sentences.

It has been a brilliant ‘Healthy Living Week, on Tuesday we had our Picnic and then Penguins did some circuit training with DJ.
