Saturday, January 31. Finally. after plowing and shoveling and packing. packing and more packing. I hit the road for Aiken SC this AM with good friend and fellow horse-woman Bobbie Cohen, plus one supposedly sedated cat. We had an uneventful 11 hr. drive ending up at a Days Inn in Carlisle PA, just south of Harrisburg. There is still snow on the ground and its STILL below freezing. Tomorrow's drive will get us to Aiken in the late afternoon and I hope to warmer temps. Posted by Pamela Blades Eckelbarger.
