Wednesday, October 14, 2009. Guanajuato. aka you-wanna-what-o. So here’s the pictures…. The Catholic Cathedral: (there's a two things that I'm afraid of, spiders and nuns). Here's Annie and I pictures:. The city is pocket marked with plazas that make great settings for little restaurants, cafes, and shops. This is also the main theater, the oldest in mexico, where all the productions happen. Here's some random pictures. They have art exhibits in various plazas and since life is art we participated.

Thursday, October 15, 2009. Ok, so one question any Mexican will ask after you've visited Guanajuato is, 'Did you go see the mummies? My first time I was excited. I wanted to see well preserved bodies wrapped in cloth, jars containing the organs, and so forth. instead I, like everyone else, got something different. Why is it when something tastes bad we offer it to someone else to verify the grossness? October 15, 2009 at 11:32 PM. That is SUPER creepy! Why are all their mouths open?

Sunday, February 21, 2010. 2 weekends ago we didn't have much planned so we decided to go on a drive. Chad really wanted to show me where he goes to ride his dirt bike. The weather was reminiscent of our sweet 4 years in Portland. In Portland when the sun would come out we would rejoice! Now when it rains or drizzles in Las Vegas we rejoice! Our second stop was the dry lake beds which were very wet and muddy. Chad went 4 wheeling with our expedition. The boys LOVED it! Mud was splattered everywhere!

Friday, January 15, 2010. San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. For Mark's birthday we took the family to the zoo! Since Mark LOVES animals we thought it was the perfect place to take him. One of the coolest displays at the zoo was the insect house. It was awesome! Here is a picture of a leaf bug. The kids loved the peacocks that roamed freely around the park. We were lucky enough to have my parents join us! I couldn't believe how cute the koalas were! I didn't like how that cheetah was looking at my boys!
