The Trust was set up originally as The Mayor of Kingston Charitable Trust under the then Mayor, Councillor. Ian McDonald. It was set up under a general remit to help those residing and working in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and the outlying areas on the borders of the borough. Let us know. We need researchers, fund raisers and organisers. Kingston has the second largest retail economy in London and as a University town, it will have a large mix of genuine homeless and those street begging. Kingston has the capacity to build up its foothold within the fashion industry and at the same time create jobs. Our long term goal is to help create work opportunities and training for those who are homeless. Short term we need to fund future night shelter acomodation.
