This Belgian Double style ale was brewed with 10 gallons of Talkeetna birch syrup from Kahiltna Birchworks. Tastes of dark fruit and Belgian sweetness balance the roasted malts. Beer of the Month. BALTIC PORTER - 7.0% ABV. The Baltic Porter style developed as a cross between English Porters and Russian Imperial Stouts. Our interpretation has a malty sweet nose of plumbs, raisin, and chocolate, and has a clean dark brown/light black color.
