Friday, 7 August 2015. 1/4 cup boiled toor dal. 2 tomatoes boiled with 2 tsp rasam pdr and 1/2 tsp turmeric pdr. To be ground :. Dry roast 1tsp pepper corns,2 tsp cumin seeds,1 sprig of curry leaf,2 red chillies and make powder with 5 garlic cloves. 1 tsp cumin seeds. Grind the boiled tomato and put in a vessel. To that add boiled toor dal, ground masala pdr n water as required,salt to taste ,tamarind and make it boil. Temper with the ingredients and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Batato n Batani Vaagu. 1/2 cup green peas. 1/2 cup boiled , peeled potato cut into cubes. 1 5 tsp chilli powder. 3 methi seeds (fenugreek). 1/4 tsp hing powder (assafoetida). Corriander leaves for garnishing. In cooker cook green peas with salt to taste. In kadai put oil ,mustard . When it starts popping add curry leaves hing , methi seeds and urad dal. When dal becomes light brown add chopped tomato and fry till it becomes smooth paste. Add chilli powder and fry for 2 minutes.

Thursday, 13 August 2015. 2 cauliflower / gobi cut into florets. 2 tsp jeera/cumin seeds. 1/2 tsp turmeric pdr/ haldi. 1 sprig of curry leaf. 2 slit green chillies. 1 finely chopped tomato. 1 tsp pepper pdr. 1 tsp Kitchen King masala or any other garam masala. Put the gobi florets in salt water for 10 mins and wash well. Boil it with salt and little water(dont overcook it). In a pan heat oil and add jeera,curry leaves,turmeric pdr. Put sliced onions,green chillies and saute till onon becomes transparent.
