One of Kinross-shire’s most valuable exports is our educated children. Dave believes that one of Kinross-shire’s most valuable exports is our educated children. Dave has four grown up children; one lives and works in Birmingham, one lives and works in London, one lives in Kinross but has to drive to Dundee every day in order to find work and one had to start her own business (Laura’s Chocolates) in order to stay in the area. So again, why is this? Confused by the voting system?

Dave is the son of Jim Cuthbert and Margaret Sands, both old Kinross-shire families. He was brought up near London and moved back to Scotland in 1991. He has lived in Kinross since 1997. Over the last 11 years Dave has been trying to make Kinross-shire a better place to live in. Dave was elected to the Kinross High School Board. April 2002 –. Kinross Community Council and the Kinross-shire Partnership wanted to keep the County Buildings open and in use until a long term business case could be created. Unfortunately PKC refused to allow any commercial lets of the building, making this impossible. Could it be that they would rather sell the property to the highest bidder?
