The aim was to match the visual characteristics of the baby and other models, whilst maintaining a believable environment. After looking at several babies walking on youtube, I tried to capture the baby's walk cycle by making him a little off balance and slowing his movements. It's not perfect - but its hopefully convincing enough for the few shots that the baby is walking in. Further eye movements and blinks will help the walk cycle overall. January 14, 2011 at 7:27 PM. KLED Animations: Baby Shader - Mental ray material

Baby Shader - Mental ray material. Wednesday, January 12, 2011. This shader was made using a sub surface scattering network, to allow light to pass through thinner parts of the model more easily, this giving a more realistic skin tone.
