No Ordinary Song: Finite Forgiveness??
http://noordinarysong.blogspot.com/2011/02/finite-forgiveness.html
Tuesday, February 22, 2011. We feel like we have the answers for everything. Poverty, crime, church, all these things that cause hurt. I heard someone say recently that there are two types of people in this world; People that build and people that destroy. But I would like to add a third type - People who destroy that claim to build. It’s almost like it’s a limbo for people to make a connection with God they feel can’t happen anywhere else. I don’t want to DO church.I̵...Maybe my frustration is more ...

The love of a family is life's greatest blessing. Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Braxton had his big first soccer game two weeks ago. Unfortunately, it was brutally cold and he wasn't feeling it. He did great at the first practice but must have gotten overwhelmed by all the parents and kids on the sidelines - the cold didn't help either as he told me, "Momma, my teeth are cold." He at least went in for maybe 5 minutes. Finally got him to go in after hugging my leg for the first two periods. The first weeken...

http://noordinarysong.blogspot.com/2011/01/mamas-never-seen-those-eyes.html

Through our lives, the people we surround ourselves with always think they know what's best for us, and we can't be hypocrites, we do the same to them. But how can we really know when it's not actually happening to us? There's no way for us to understand completely. We may know bits and pieces, but the full extent of the situation isn't available for our thoughts. The answer is simple. Because you've never seen those eyes. You've never heard tho...
