Mind of a loon. Just my random thoughts. Holiday season/ End of 2013. I always find Christmas to be the hardest time of the year. It’s the time you need your loved ones the most, because without them it’s just another day. I love the anticipation of this one day. The way we all get excited, decorate our homes, stock up on stupid amounts of food. It gives us something to look forward to; the one day we can forget everything and just enjoy ourselves. Friday, 16 March 2018. 2 tbsp. oil. 1 tsp garlic ginger paste. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder. 1 tsp chilli powder. 1 tsp masala powder. 2 tsp coriander powder. 2 tsp pepper powder. 1 In a pressure cooker, dump in the chicken, salt, turmeric and enough water to cover the chicken. 2 Let it whistle about 2- 3 times. 3 Remove the chicken and keep aside the chicken stock. 4 Once the chicken is less hot, shred it. 5 In a wok, pour oil and sauté the sliced onion, chopped green chilli and curry leaves well.

March 25, 2018. My crochet basket was falling apart–a wicker handled basket I’ve used for years to hold my work-in-progress projects. I considered finding another one at the thrift store, but then realized I could just make one. So I searched Pinterest for some ideas and found the Diamond Trellis Basket. Pattern.
