Elder Kirk and Sister Joan. Our Utah St. George Mission Experiences. Friday, February 27, 2015. We're in the Provo MTC! It was fun to see the familiar faces of the Sampsons from St. George in our Senior Couples classes. They are off to Vanuatu near Fiji. And we got a few hours off to hit the famous BYU Creamery close to the MTC. The best part was hanging out with the nieces and nephews, Andrew, Ashley, and Tawni. They each had been gone all day in classes and work, but they still made time for us!

But I'd love to make it an annual tradition to get together and have a special time with my darling daughter and daughter-in-laws. Thanks to Kenny for taking off work to take care of three kids for 4 days so that it could happen. Robert and Rose Marie Barrett. Sunday, April 19, 2009. APRIL 23rd - HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY, TATUM! Our youngest granddaughter, Tatum, turned six years old this year! We have told her to stop growing up, but she doesn't listen! We weren't able to go to Reno to be with her on her birthday this year, but we did talk to her that evening. Tatum is in kindergarten, and will soon be in first grade. All of the kids love her, and want to be her friend. She's so sweet and loveable! She is so much fun, and so smart!

What's Up Down South. A little slice of the Spanish Fork Life. Thursday, May 13, 2010. Dogsitting, Mother's Day and Such. The weekend of Mother's Day we babysat my co-worker's dog. Her name is Chaco and she's a large Brazilian Mastiff. 100 pounds! She was very good and basically just followed me around the house wherever I went. The first night she was here, she slept on her doggy bed outside of our room, but in the morning she followed Greg down when he left for work, and started crying when he left!

Elder Kirk and Sister Joan. Our Utah St. George Mission Experiences. Monday, April 6, 2015. The little girl we tracted in the Veyo apartments got baptized! Her name is Kenzie—she lives with her grandparents and twin brothers—and her baptism this week was wonderful! They have lived in Veyo about 8 months, and didn't know many people when she started coming to church. The Bishop estimated maybe 15 people would be at the baptism. But there were over 40 there! Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Pumpkin carving for the first time in several years. This was the first time Carter and Emma got to dig out pumpkin seeds, how exciting! They actually didn't like the feel of it and had to wash their hands right away. This year we even roasted our pumpkin seeds for a little snack. Emma and Mom= carriage for Cinderella.
