Just another WordPress.com site. May 24, 2010. The great CAR PARKING CHARGES DEBATE. Still rumbles on and we would like to hear your views? We all understand the arguments for charges; cost of maintaining car parks, better security etc., but really is this just another way of fleecing the beleaguered motorist yet again? The charges for the car park at Willerby/Kirkella like every where else locally have been deferred for the time being, but have no doubt they will be introduced! Do you go along with this?

At a recent Parish Council meeting, the Police reconfirmed thay will soon be taking the opportunity to check on the speeds of vehicles passing through the Vilages, using the speed radar device that shows drivers the speeds they are travelling on a display!
